Did I Pay Too Much For My New Watch?

So, you just bought a new watch and are wondering about the price you paid for it. First, let me say that I wish you had read this article before you shopped for a new watch, but that’s water under the bridge. Shopping for luxury watches is not rocket science, but it does take a strategy, if you want to walk away with no regrets. The first step is to become more knowledgeable, and even if you did pay too much for that new watch this time…you won’t get burned twice.

Let’s remember that the value of a watch is questionable. You have to look at a few different factors. Who is the manufacturer? Do you know their reputation and what they put into their watches? Do you know if they make their own watches or do they farm out this part of their business?

Who did you buy the watch from? Did you pay full retail or did you shop around and get a good, fair price? Did the watch come with all papers of authenticity and do you feel comfortable that it is the genuine article?

Are you planning on keeping this watch for a while? Is this a watch that you are pleased with? If you aren’t a collector and are not looking at the resale aspects of the watch, then I think that as long as you can say that you are happy with it and you feel that it is worth what you paid for it…then it is. Next time, do your homework, upfront.

Get Your Ray Ban Club Master Sunglasses

Ray Ban Sunglasses have a magical way of surviving fashion storms ever since they came into being in the early 1930s. Ray Ban Club master sunglasses are among the most far-famed types of Ray ban designs. Perhaps, you remember the iconic portrait of Malcolm X in them. But, they became more popularized by the 1950s rock stars, and hence the name “Club master”. Today, the newest versions of the same are a must have sun wear accessory for most fashion extremists and celebrities. They have distinctive way of bringing a classic sensation to any wearer since they still possess that “back in the days” authenticity.

They come in a variety of colors, shapes and sizes to choose from. The retro accessories are mainly made of plastic or polycarbonate lenses and typically classic half metal frame. The frames supporting the lenses and bridges between the two lenses are normally coated with different colors such as stainless steel, ivory, gold, black, and red, among other colors. The lenses are also made with a blend of different colors such as the green and gray, silver and red or black and brown, among other shades. This makes Ray Ban Club master sunglasses a fit and lively wear for both men and women; although there are some which are specifically for men, women or kids.

These glasses are heavier in weight compared to other Ray Ban sun wear. This gives you a feel of “brawny” on your face. Naturally, they have clearer lenses than most of the other Ray Ban sunglasses, and other models as well, and they do not distort visuals, neither do they form deviations on images. Like other sunglasses, these sun glasses have the ability to shield you from Ultra-Violet rays and other harmful rays from the sun, making it safe for you to stay outdoors for a longer period even when the sunlight is harsh.

Ray-Ban Club master lenses are much stronger, and if you take proper care of them, they rarely get rough on the surface as they are resistant to scratches. However, it is recommended that you avoid wiping the lenses with rough clothes. Once you buy a pair of these magnificent sunglasses, you will be given a wiping cloth to wipe dust and remove finger prints, along with a Ray Ban flip-over case. Also, beside the case, you will be given a free guidebook on best wearing conditions. This is to ensure that your pair of Club master gives you service for a longer period of time and will not harm your eyes.

So, if you are looking for a pair of glasses this summer season, you have got to get Ray-Ban Club master sunglasses. The best thing about Ray ban designs is that they never go out of fashion and they always deliver on their promises therefore never disappoint. So, if you take proper care of your pair, you can wear them on for the next couple of decades as they are timeless.

Fashion Trends for Fall in Nursing Scrubs

Designers for the Fall of 2010 are most certainly acknowledging that we are still in a recession. Because designers are artists first, they are intuitive to feelings and emotions. As such, they have created clothes and trends that speak to the emotional state of where the average woman is at in these rough and tumble times. In general, people are feeling dark and uncertain. When the social atmosphere is this way, this can bring out emotions, such as anger, hardness, ferocity, and numbness. On the other hand, in times like these, some people feel the strong need for practicality, simplicity, and conservation. So it’s with all of these emotions that designers have given us their creations.

With regards to colors, grays will continue to dominate. Gray represents simple elegance, neutrality, and edge. There will be shade of gray from pearl gray, to charcoal. The pearl of course is for a more ladylike, practical look. The charcoal is for the edgy sophisticate that wants to sport the richness and darkness of black, yet wants to try something new, and is looking forward to change. Having said that, black will be back. Black is always a constant for the colder months. This year’s black will feature a variety of textures. This probably represents the variety of people experiencing different textures of “blackness” or bleakness in their lives. Purple will continue forward as a color of choice. Purple is a dark shade but with an underlying boldness that says “hang in there, things are getting better”. It is representative of the American grit and spirit.

The lines of the designs certainly speak to women who are fighting mad and fighting back. We will see coats with very tight lines. These lines speak of lean times financially. The last time fashion was so lean, was back in the 1940s, during the Second World War Women were encouraged to sport a very lean and sparse look because food, money, and resources were scarce. During our current recession, women certainly have to cut back on their eating habits and other aspects of their lives as well. Along with tight and skinny tailoring, the designs themselves will invoke images of a rough and tumble type of personality who is surviving these rough and tumble times.

While many people are angry and fighting mad, some women lean more towards the practical and the neutral. To this end, we’ll see feminine, bohemian lines that can be worn day and night, “high” and “low.” The colors for the practical woman are going to be the fall classics of beige, camel, and the like. But in addition to this, we are going to see “greige” which is a combination of gray and beige. Purple will continue forward as a color of choice. A dark color with a secondary feel of boldness will suit those

Jeggins are a combination of jeans and leggins. These not only look good, but they feel comfortable. These are going to be the legwear of fall and winter 2010, because they can also be dressed up and down, and they are comfortable and no-nonsense. Women will be sporting large utility bags that they can take to the office, to play-dates, and to lunches and outings with their friends. Again, times are tight, and women need one fabulous bag that can work for many different scenarios.

Shoes and jewelry will be edgy and fashion forward. These will be for the woman that refuses to shrink, or to be knocked down by the times. These over the top fashion pieces are forms of rebellion, and forms of expression. Fashion is always a visual indicator of the times that we live in, and this year will be no different.

So how does this relate to nursing uniforms and work wear? Of course, uniform scrubs come in black, but few people are so morbid as to wear them both top and bottom in a hospital setting except at Halloween. Combined with a white or print top, black uniform scrub pants present a sharp contrasting look that is always attractive. Purple nursing scrubs will continue to be among the best sellers and a favorite among patients. When purple scrubs were first introduced, nurses felt like Barney dressed in purple until patient input was overwhelmingly favorable to the color. The color of royalty, purple is rich with a hint of fun.

Especially popular in the fall, shades of brown and tan offer soothing neutrality to patients in an often stressful hospital environment. Blending well with other seasonal specific colors such as orange (Thanksgiving), red and green (Christmas) and pastels (Easter), tan is truly a year round color. And while nurses do not wear a lot of jewelry, colorful stethoscopes worn around the neck serve as accessories for the nurse.
